Eligibility: Applicants should have a first class Honours degree, including a first class pass in their dissertation, or a distinction pass at Master’s level including a distinction pass in their dissertation, or equivalent, in a relevant science, technology or engineering subject. You should have excellent English Language Skills with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Scholarship Description: The School of Marine Science and Technology has a PhD studentship available for International or Home/EU candidates who are looking to undertake research in a topic that matches the School’s expertise. The project must start in the 2011/12 academic year, preferably, September 2011. Depending on how you meet the School’s eligibility criteria, you will be entitled to a full award. A full award covers tuition fees and an annual stipend which will be commensurate with current research council awards.
