Scholarship Description: AUS supports bright individuals with a keen interest in research for a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering at the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Upon graduation, scholars have the flexibility to pursue their PhD studies locally or abroad on A*STAR or other university scholarships. Scholars can look forward to research attachments at A*STAR’s Research Institutes with state-of-the-art facilities and be part of A*STAR’s community of diverse and renowned scientists and researchers.

For candidates on GCE ‘A’ Level syllabus
* Candidates must offer 11 units or more
* Attained As in three H2 Science or Mathematics subjects

Scholarship Description: The purpose of the Army Nurse Corps Association Scholarship Program is to award scholarships to students attending accredited baccalaureate or graduate nursing or anesthesia programs. The 2011 scholarships will be awarded in memory of the three Army Nurses who lost their lives in the shootings at the Fort Hood Readiness Center on 5 November 2009. All three were reservists who had been activated and were being processed for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. LTC Juanita Warman, CPT Russell Seager and CPT John Gaffaney will be remembered for their dedication, bravery and ultimate sacrifice. For 2011, ANCA scholarships will be $3,000 per selected applicant. Selected students will be notified within a few weeks. Scholarship funds are sent to the school to be managed for the student and not sent directly to the student.

Scholarship Description: The Academic Fellowship Program (AFP) Mobility Fund is designed to support visits between AFP partner departments or former AFP Resource Departments.  Faculty members may use the mobility grant to consult with colleagues on issues of curriculum, teaching or research, such as developing a new course or revising an existing one.  Goals of the visit should be well-defined, based on concrete outcomes, and align with the departmental development strategy.Recipients of the grant are encouraged to give a guest lecture or lead a discussion in their area of expertise while visiting the host university.
