Scholarship Description: The Scholarship recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of undergraduate students pursuing a career in actuarial science. The Actuarial Foundation will provide an award of $7,500 for education expenses at any accredited U.S. educational institution.This award will be forwarded to the college/ university of recipients’ choosing or other arrangements may be considered on an individual basis. The Actuarial Foundation independently manages this program.Awards are made without regard to race, color, creed, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.


The applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student entering as a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall 2011/2012 term and not a previous recipient of the scholarship. And must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on 4.0 scale). The applicant must have successfully completed two actuarial exams.Scholarships are awarded directly to the college/university of choice in the recipients name.
