Scholarship Description: The postdoc is expected to be experienced enough to be able to carry out independent research using individual level longitudinal data within any of the following areas:


Historical demography
Socioeconomic status and health over the life course
Socioeconomic stratification, union formation and fertility
Family, gender and work
Immigrant integration
He/she must be willing to interact with the students and to participate actively in the common activities of the Centre for Economic Demography.

Qualifications
The applicants must have a PhD in demography, economics, economic history, public health/social medicine, or a related social science discipline, by the starting date. The PhD must not be more than 3 years old at the time of application deadline. Selection of candidates will be based on research potential as manifested in the PhD dissertation and other publications as well as the degree of compatibility with the Centre´s research areas.
