Scholarship Description: The Academic Fellowship Program (AFP) Mobility Fund is designed to support visits between AFP partner departments or former AFP Resource Departments.  Faculty members may use the mobility grant to consult with colleagues on issues of curriculum, teaching or research, such as developing a new course or revising an existing one.  Goals of the visit should be well-defined, based on concrete outcomes, and align with the departmental development strategy.Recipients of the grant are encouraged to give a guest lecture or lead a discussion in their area of expertise while visiting the host university.

The International Leaders in Education Program (ILEP)2011 provides international teachers with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills and increase their knowledge about the United States.

Scholarship Description: ILEP consists of a semester-long non-degree, non-credit academic program at a U.S. University including course work in teaching methodologies, lesson planning, teaching strategies for the home classroom environment, teacher leadership and the use of computers for internet, word processing and tools for teaching. ILEP will commence in January 2012 and conclude in May 2012 and will include an internship at a U.S. secondary school to engage participants with U.S. teachers and students.
